GENERAL INFORMATION:

I have been building standard classical Spanish guitars since 2006.

As a result of numerous inquiries and requests regarding short scale classical guitars, I have recently concentrated more on building these instruments. I have built quite a number of them already, and at shorter scale lengths of between 604 and 640mm, with the possibility of any unique scale in between these scale lengths. Please see in the menu on the right of this page under "WRC Padauk Short Scale 604mm" a typical example of such a short scale instrument.

I have built a number of multi-string classical instruments, such as 8-string and 10-string classical guitars. I recently also completed a commission for an 11-string classical guitar (pictures under "11-string classical" in the menu). I plan to also start building Alto guitars.

I build replicas of all the master builders of the past, such as Torres, Ramirez, Hauser, Friederich, Bouchet, Fleta, etc., as well as modern day designs such as double tops, raised fret boards, lattice braced tops, and so forth. Any of these master designs can be adjusted to shorter scales, and/or other modifications to suit your individual needs and requirements.
