I built his guitar using Curly Maple for the back and sides, and a 150 year old Spruce top.

The nut dimension is 50mm (2.0"), and the neck averages 22mm(7/8") thick. 

I used Torres dimensions as far as possible, except for the thickness of the back, where I made it 2.5mm (0.100") thick. This ensures that the sound is still very Rosewood-like, but with the added beauty of the Curly Maple.

The very old Spruce top gives it a fantastic clear, crystal-like sound, and fantastic sustain. Even very soft playing still produces clear notes and good volume.

I fitted economy Gotoh tuners to keep the cost down, without sacrificing reliable tuning.
