"The reports are in!  It's a great guitar!  I've spent a couple of hours playing in the new strings, and am as pleased as I can be!  The sound is very fine indeed, very even across all registers, with plenty of ring and sustain.  I'm particularly pleased with the playability of the instrument - the string spacing makes it much easier to keep things "clean," and I find myself having to remember that I don't have to grip with the left hand - everything is there already. 

I've always been much more into the sound than the looks of a instrument, but this is as beautiful visually as it is acoustically (the cocobolo fret board is gorgeous!!).  I know the spruce top will open up the more it's played, which will make it even more lovely.  Many congratulations on your excellent work!  I'll certainly be showing off the guitar to lots of other players, and will give them your name...

Hello Joseph,

Got the guitar yesterday and I've been playing it ever since. The box was undamaged and the case and guitar appear to have suffered no ill effects from the shipping.

Simply put, the guitar is beautiful. I can't stop looking at it, turning it over in my hands to watch the gleam of light play along the deep grain of the Padauk, or enjoying the fine striations in the cedar top and the juxtaposition of colors between the top and sides, or glancing at the colorful rosette...or reveling in the scents of freshly cut high-grade woods. In sum, I'm very happy with my purchase!

Quite simply, the guitar is beautiful in sight and sound, and it is a testament to the skill of your hands and your discerning eyes and ears. Its capabilities far exceed my performance envelope, and I'm looking forward to growing into it, especially since I can't seem to put it down.
